Welcome 2006

Hi,

This blog is to welcome the new year - 2006 and to make certain resolutions at the begining of this year. It is also to take a quick revamp of the last year- 2005.

First I Wish a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of my readers.

I feel very sorry when I see that my last post was in September2005. This is the most irregular behavior by me. I promise to myself that in year 2006 I will write atleast one blog in each month.

This new year gives me a lots of hope and yet another opportunity to prosper. My resolution in this year is to get married..!! Well, I know that marriages are made in heaven and only time can tell when it will happen.

I have been a bit short temepered person so far. I have raised my voice at many occasions - especially at home. I have not respected my parents at a few moments. I would try to be patient, listen to the others and never try to interrupt others' conversation.

There is one more thing I would like to do for my parents this year - to send them on Europe Tour. You know what ? - My dad is a retired man now, and he deserves some change, something to cheer at and something to enjoy.

In my profession, there is no alternative to hard work. I would like to complete certain certifications, but haven't planned for them.

These are my new year resolutions.

How was the last year?
Well, in simple words, it was cruel to many of us. It was thrilling to some of us. But I am sure that everybody would like to forget year2005. All kinds of natural calamities rocked the world -
Biggest floods in the histrory of India. Fully standstill Mumbai.
USA suffered by hurricanes like Katrina and Rita.
North-West India (J & K) and POK destroyed by thundering earthquakes.
Bomb-Blasts at London.
Arrest of Abu Salem.
Operation Duryodhan.
The BigB admitted to hosptial..
and last but not the least - Chappel-Ganguly controversy.
hufffff... there are a lot more than this.

Certain good things happen too..
Sachin made is comeback gloriously and broke the Little Master's record of hieghest number of test centuries.
Rahul was made captain of Team India.
Sania Mirza and Narain Karthikeyan emerged as the new Indian Sports Icons.
'Mr. Raymonds' - Vijaypat Singhania flied sky-high in a mere baloon at the age of 78-odd and created a world record.
The BigB started KBC again.
But overall, this was one nasty year-2005.
